It is noteworthy that a single company may have access to multiple corporate codes for Hilton properties. To ensure the correct code is used for the desired brand, it is important to be aware of the distinctions between these codes. The codes are listed and divided into two categories: “Hilton Code: Acquired Brands” and “Hilton Code: Hilton Brands” in the table provided.

The codes listed under the “Acquired Brands” category refer to those specifically linked to DoubleTree, Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites, and Home2 Suites properties.

It is unclear why Hilton has not consolidated the corporate codes into a single code per company, but the reason for having multiple codes is to offer tailored discounts to different groups of customers.

Hilton has separate codes for different brands due to their decision to retain the corporate codes that were associated with the brands acquired from Promus Hotel Corporation in 1999. As a result, these acquired brands have a separate code from the codes used for the original brands developed by Hilton independently.
